Visit Temple Newsam - Leeds Museums & Galleries Having an energetic dog, I spend quite a lot of time at Temple Newsam park. It was a just the right sort of scary for Halloween without being too terrifying! However, for 2022 it leaves the capital and doubles in size, taking place over two days at Temple Newsam. just very very very muddy..that's all part of the fun though, Great 1st half, middle part let it down but then on the way back was great again. a wet day very boggy but loved it my legs knackered now,will do it again, Loved it!! There is paid on-site parking available in the patrolled house car park. We visited on the first day of santa visits and arrived early to visit the stables where staff were hosting FREE christmas wreath making (the only charges were for extra decorations like cinnamon sticks, orange pieces and acorns which were 50p each or for 2 so an absolute bargain!). We visited Temple Newsam Haouse today on spec. There is a nice mix of woodlands, rivers, gardens, and open terrain to explore. Mostly off road just a short 1 minute road but and rest off road Stay entertained with a hotel and ticket package provided by Sound Travel.
