Trail access is via Campus Drive, close to the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. Highlights include Three Sisters, Balancing Rock, a 1000-ton boulder and Indian Face Rock, all natural rock formations. Difficulty level is rated easy. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 40 min to complete. Very scenic grade not to hilly. The trailhead is clearly marked and there is adequate parking. The General Kane Trail named after Thomas Leiper Kane, is a 1-mile loop hiking trail. it was a nice view of the valley and the fallen bridge. The steepness going both up and down provide a challenge, but my sister and I had a lot of fun, and we made it to the other end of the bridge! The trail was also very clean and well-maintained.
